Gov. Richard Kyrle's Executive Council

Location Met: Charles Town

On April 29, 1684, the Lords Proprietors commissioned Richard Kyrle as the next governor in Charles Town, but he did not arrive in the province until July of 1684. However, he died soon after arriving, in August of 1684.

On June 3, 1684, Thomas Amy appointed Robert Quarry as his Deputy; Christopher Monck, 2nd Duke of Albemarle appointed John Godfrey as his Deputy; and, Sir Peter Colleton appointed John Moore as his Deputy.

On the same date, the Lord Proprietors commissioned Robert Quarry as Clerk of the Crown.
