Virtually nothing is known about President John Jenkins' second term as Acting Governor - 1680-1681. Upon the death of the the former President John Harvey in January of 1679/80, John Jenkins once again took the reins of the government in Albemarle County, until he too died on December 17, 1681.

There are no known extant records of the Executive Council nor the General Assembly from this period of time covering President John Jenkins's second time at the helm of Albemarle County (1680-1681).
