Carolina Lords Proprietors

Sir Fulwar Skipwith, 2nd Baronet of Newbold Hall

Sir Fulwar Skipwith, 2nd Baronet of Newbold Hall (baptized June 24, 1676 - May 14, 1728) was the son of Humberston Skipwith and Elizabeth Cony. On August 18, 1703, he married Mary, daughter of Sir Francis Dashwood, 1st Baronet.

Sir Fulwar Skipwith was a Member of Parliament, representing Coventry from 1713 to 1715.

His sister was Elizabeth Skipwith, who married William Craven, 2nd Baron Craven. Upon Craven's death in 1711, his share of Carolina was inherited by his eldest son, William Craven, 3rd Baron Craven, a minor. Sir Fulwar Skipwith managed this share of Carolina, on behalf of William Craven, 3rd Baron Craven, from 1712 to 1716, or perhaps even later.

He died at Bath on May 14, 1728.
