North Carolina State Senate

This General Assembly met in New Bern - April 19th to June 3rd. The Senate Journal for this session has been lost to history. Names herein come mostly from the 1913 NC Manual.

During 1783, the NC Legislature created Davidson County and Greene County. These two counties sent delegates to the NC General Assembly for the first time in 1784.

During 1784, the NC Legislature created Moore County and Sampson County. These two counties also sent delegates to the NC General Assembly for the first time in 1784.
