Brevard, Joseph 2nd NC Regiment 1782 1783 Was an Ensign and a Lieutenant.  Regimental QM on 3/13/1782.
Brooks, Asa 5th NC Regiment 1778 1778 A Sergeant under Capt. William Caswell.  Jan. 1778, a QM Sergeant.  Died 6/3/1778.
Campbell, James 2nd NC Regiment 1778 1778 Was an Ensign and a Lieutenant.  QM on 9/10/1778.  Then, a Captain.
Clendenan, John 3rd NC Regiment 1779 1783 Was an Ensign and a Lieutenant.  Regimental QM on 12/14/1779 (still with rank of Lieutenant).  POW at the Fall of Charleston, exchanged 6/14/1781.  POW at the battle of Eutaw Springs on 9/8/1781.  A POW until 11/26/1782.   aka Clendenin.  Resigned 1/1/1783.  Another source claims he was paroled at the Fall of Charleston, he broke his parole and raised a company of Militia in Orange County. Siege of Charleston (SC), Guilford Court House, Eutaw Springs (SC).
Coleman, Charles 3rd NC Regiment 1777 1778 Was a QM Sergeant.  On 10/14/1777, Regimental QM.  Dropped from the rolls in Sep. 1778.  aka Charles Colman.
Conger, Jonathan 4th NC Regiment 1777 1777 1/25/1777, a QM Sergeant.  Promoted 9/11/1777 - to what, not known.  Maybe regimental QM.
Cooper, Henry 7th NC Regiment 1777 1779 Was a Sergeant.  12/18/1777, a QM Sergeant.  Back to Sergeant in June 1778.  Back to QM Sergeant on 2/12/1779.
Curry, John 4th NC Regiment 1782 1783 Was a Private.  Dec. 1782, a QM Sergeant.  Discharged 10/4/1783.
Daves, John 2nd NC Regiment 1776 1776 6/7/1776, a QM.  9/30/1776, an Ensign.  Later, a Lieutenant and a Captain.
Dawes, Josiah 7th NC Regiment 1777 1778 7/10/1777, a Regimental QM.  Dropped from the rolls in Jan. 1778.  aka Jonah Daws.
Douglas, William 4th NC Regiment 1777 1778 2/10/1777, a Regimental QM.  Dropped from the rolls in Jan. 1778.
Fleming, John 3rd NC Regiment 1778 7/20/1778, a QM Sergeant for nine months.
Foakes, Yelverton 1st NC Regiment 1776 1776 2/3/1776, a Lieutenant and Regimental QM.  Resigned 8/1/1776.  aka Yelverton Fowkes.
Gamble, Edmund 1st NC Regiment 1781 1781, a known QM stationed at Salisbury.
Giles, John 5th NC Regiment 1777 1778 8/22/1777, a QM Sergeant.  Dropped from the rolls in Jan. 1778.
Gilston, Samuel 1st NC Regiment 1779 Was a Sergeant.  6/17/1779, a QM Sergeant.
Graham, Joseph 4th NC Regiment 1777 1778 May 1777, a Sergeant under Capt. William Goodman for nine months.  Also a QM Sergeant.  Discharged in August 1778.  Enlisted in Mecklenburg County.  Later, a QM Sergeant, Captain, and Major in NC Militia.
Graves, Francis 8th NC Regiment 1777 1779 9/1/1777, a Regimental QM.  Transferred to NC 10th Regiment on 10/26/1777 as a 2nd Lieutenant.  Transferred to 3rd NC Regiment on 6/1/1778.  A 1st Lieutenant on 7/14/1779.
Green, Joseph New Bern District Minutemen 1776 1776 2/27/1776, a known QM under Col. Richard Caswell. Moore's Creek Bridge.
Hall, John 2nd NC Regiment 1781 1782 4/25/1781, a Private and a Quartermaster under Capt. Tilghman Dixon.  Discharged on 4/25/1782.  From Warren County, NC.  R14699. Eutaw Springs (SC).
Hardison, Hardy 7th NC Regiment 1777 1777 4/14/1777, a QM Sergeant.  Died 12/18/1777.
Hopper, William 1st NC Regiment 1777 1778 Was a Private and a Sergeant.  Dec. 1777, a QM Sergeant.  Discharged on 6/11/1778.
Hornsby, Thomas 1st NC Regiment 1781 1782 1781, a QM Sergeant under Capt. Alexander Brevard for 12 months.  Discharged on 4/28/1782 (3rd NC Regiment).
Johnson, James 6th NC Regiment 1777 1778 4/2/1777, a Regimental QM.  Retired 6/1/1778.  Later, a Captain in NC Militia.  One source asserts his first name was Joseph.
Lockhart, John 3rd NC Regiment 1779 Was a Sergeant.  12/15/1779, a QM Sergeant.
Loving, Edward Surry County Regiment 1776 1776 2/27/1776, a known QM under Lt. Col. Joseph Williams. Moore's Creek Bridge.
McKendree, William Northampton County Regiment 1781 4/7/1781, a known QM Sergeant under Capt. Bynum Turner.
McKey, Dougal 3rd NC Regiment 1782 1783 A QM Sergeant under Capt. Samuel Jones.  Discharged 2/1/1783.
McPherson, Abel 2nd NC Regiment 1779 Was a Sergeant.  12/20/1779, a QM Sergeant.
Mitchell, Nathaniel 3rd NC Regiment 1779 Regimental QM, start date unknown.  Dismissed in Oct. 1779.
Nelson, Robert 6th NC Regiment 1777 1778 1/1/1777, a QM Sergeant.  Dropped from the rolls in Jan. 1778.
Nuthall, Nathaniel 9th NC Regiment 1777 1778 5/20/1777, a Regimental QM and an Ensign.  5/26/1777, an Adjutant.  Winter 1778, found guilty of "behaving in an infamous manner unbecoming an Officer and a Gentlemen," and also for embezzling stores.  Dismissed on 11/4/1778.
Outlaw, Alexander 10th NC Regiment 1777 1778 1777, a Quarter Master.  As QM, he was charged with misconduct and deposed.  Was a Captain of Militia.  From Duplin County, NC.  He moved to Washington County, NC and joined Militia there.
Penticost, Dancey 3rd NC Regiment 1777 1778 Was a Sergeant.  Nov. 1777, a QM Sergeant.  Dropped from the rolls in Sep. 1778.
Pyatt, Peter 9th NC Regiment 1778 1779 Was a Sergeant.  6/15/1778, a QM Sergeant.  Discharged on 6/15/1779.
Rhein, Peter 8th NC Regiment 1777 1778 Was a Sergeant.  Nov. 1777, a QM Sergeant.  Back to Sergeant in Jan. 1778.  9/9/1778, a Sergeant under Capt. Benjamin Andrew Coleman (2nd NC Regiment).  A Private on 7/4/1779.  Discharged on 2/10/1780.  aka Peter Rhem.
Rice, Jeptha 9th NC Regiment 1776 1777 11/28/1776, a QM Sergeant.  An Ensign on 3/15/1777.  5/15/1781, a QM Sergeant again, unit unknown.  W5700.
Rice, John Edenton District Brigade of Militia Unk Unk Per the NC State Records of 1784, John Rice is acknowledged as having served as the Brigade QM for the Edenton District, dates not named.
Rogers, Patrick 1st NC Regiment 1776 1777 11/3/1776, a Regimental QM.   3/28/1777, an Ensign.
Schaw, Daniel 6th NC Regiment 1778 1779 Was an Ensign and a 2nd Lieutenant.  6/2/1778, a Regimental QM.  10/1/1779, a 1st Lieutenant.
Shine, James New Bern District Brigade of Militia 1779 8/28/1779, rec'd a letter from Gov. Richard Caswell.
Sikes,  William Halifax County Regiment 1780 6/2/1780, a QM under Capt. William Brinkley and then Capt. John Pitts.
Slade, Stephen 2nd NC Regiment 1776 1778 5/12/1776, a QM Sergeant.  1/1/1778, a Regimental QM.  9/5/1778, an Ensign.  Then a Lieutenant.   Retired 1/1/1783.
Standfast, William 4th NC Regiment 1777 1778 Was a Sergeant.  9/11/1777, a QM Sergeant.  Back to Sergeant in Aug. 1778.  A Private in Oct. 1777.  9/8/1778, a Private in the Colonel's Company (Col. Thomas Clark) (1st NC Regiment).  A Private on 4/1/1779.  Deserted on 1/1/1780
Steed, Jesse 4th NC Regiment 1781 1781 6/1/1781, an Ensign under Capt. Mathew Ramsey.  7/13/1781, Regimental QM.  9/8/1781, a Lieutenant.  From Franklin County, NC.  R11616.
Swan, Nimrod 5th NC Regiment 1777 1778 6/18/1777, a Regimental QM.  Dropped from the rolls in Jan. 1778. aka Nimrod Swann.
