Uriah Armstrong

Colonel in the Onslow County Regiment of Militia - 1776-1777

In April of 1776, the NC Provincial Congress appointed Uriah Armstrong as second Colonel, alongside Col. William Cray, in the Onslow County Regiment of Militia. He resigned his commission in the 4Q of 1777, and was replaced by Col. Henry Rhodes.
