A dot on a map made in 1799 is the singular reference found to the small village of Greenfield, located roughly 12-15 miles south and a little west of Raleigh, in Wake County, North Carolina. If anyone has any useful information on this mysterious place, please contact me at jd.lewis@carolana.com. All help is greatly appreciated. |
