Mint Hill was founded ca. 1750, unincorporated 1910, incorporated in 1971. It is located in Mecklenburg County. Mint Hill was granted a US Post Office on March 27, 1860, and its first Postmaster was Mr. Joshua S. Waters. It was permanently closed on March 15, 1904.
