South Carolina Delegates to the U.S. Congress

53rd U.S. Congress (1893-1895)

The 53rd U.S. Congress met in three sessions: 1) August 7, 1893 to November 3, 1893; 2) December 4, 1893 to August 28, 1894; and 3) December 3, 1894 to March 3, 1895.

Due to the results of the 1890 U.S. Census, South Carolina was again authorized to send seven (7) delegates to the U.S. House of Representatives. All South Carolina Districts were possibly redrawn as of March 3, 1893.

* The South Carolina U.S. Congressional Districts were probably redrawn due to population shifts in the 1890 U.S. Census.
