The 71st U.S. Congress met in three sessions: 1) April 15, 1929 to November 22, 1929; 2) December 2, 1929 to July 3, 1930; and 3) December 1, 1930 to March 3, 1931. A Special Session was convened from March 4th to March 5th in 1929. Another Special Session was convened from July 7th to July 21st in 1930.
