An Act to Enforce the Use of a Uniform Series of Text Books in the Free Public Schools of This State.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That on and after the first day of November, 1879, it shall not be lawful for any teacher of a public school in this State to cause to be introduced into his or her school any text books not prescribed by the State Board of Examiners.
