An Act to Amend Section 1053 of the Revised Statutes of 1893, Vol. 1, Relating to the Report of the School Commissioner to the Court of Sessions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, That Section 1053 of the Revised Statutes of 1893, Volume 1, be, and the same is hereby, amended by striking out the words “School Commissioner” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “Superintendent of Education,” and by substituting the word “third” for the word “second.” So that said Section when so amended shall read as follows:

"Section 1053. The County Superintendent of Education shall make an annual report of all claims filed, audited and allowed and ordered paid by him during each fiscal year to the presiding Judge at the third term of the Court of General Sessions for his County, which shall be held after the first day of January in each year, to be submitted by said Judge to the Grand Jury for their examination."
