An Act to Exempt Students of Colleges from Road Duty or the Payment of Commutation Tax in the Towns and Cities of This State.

Acts and Joint Resolutions of the General Assembly of South Carolina 1898, Page 742.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the Slate of South Carolina, That from and after the approval of this Act all students while actually attending any of the colleges in this State shall be exempt from road or street duty or the payment of any commutation tax in the towns and cities of this State where colleges are located.
