Gov. Lord Charles Greville Montague's Executive Council

On June 17, 1766, Lord Charles Greville Montague arrived in Charles Town and took the oaths of office and allegiance as the next Royal Governor of South Carolina.
On May 23, 1768, Governor Lord Charles Greville Montague traveled to Philadelphia and Boston. Lt. Governor William Bull, Jr. ran the South Carolina government from that date until October 30, 1768, when Governor Montague returned.
On July 29, 1769, Governor Lord Charles Greville Montague went to England for his health. Lt. Governor William Bull, Jr. ran the South Carolina government from that date until September 15, 1771, when Governor Montague returned. 
On March 11, 1773, Governor Lord Charles Greville Montague resigned his office and set sail for England, never to return to South Carolina.
