| Thomas Hickman volunteered in Captain Hickman's Company, Colonel John Armstrong's Regiment. He joined General Greene's army and was with General Pickens' Brigade at the battle at the Alamance and also at Whitsells Mill on Reedy fork and was in the Battle at Guilford Court House and served two months and ten days. |
