Allston Clark served in Captain Jesse Tillman's Company of Colonel John Marshall's Regiment of South Carolina Militia.

John Gayden emigrated to South Carolina and was a first lieutenant in Colonel John Marshall's Regiment, General Sumter's Brigade in the Revolutionary War. He also served in Captain Ross's Camden Company as a private.
