Patriot wagons captured, 7 miles below Orangeburgh.


Sometime around May 8th, a convoy of six wagons carrying artillery stores and small arms from Major General Nathanael Greene's camp to Charlotte was captured seven miles below Orangeburgh and burned, with the loss of one Patriot killed and one wounded.
