attacked and routed and cut to pieces a detachment of Loyalist
Black Dragoons operating out of Charlestown. Location currently
unknown except that this engagement allegedly happened in present-day
Berkeley County. This engagement is most likely the same one previously identified in Charleston County as Whitehall. |
