Capt. Edward Allen, now commanding the SC Navy brig Comet, captured a large ship from the Bay of Honduras and sent her to Charleston. Capt. Thomas Pickering, commanding the Defense, also sent in two prize ships. On February 27th, Capt. Allen captured two more ships from Honduras that were carrying mahogany and logwood.
