Joseph Eggleston attacked and captured a large troop of SC Royalists, commanded by a Lt. Col. Stewart, out foraging. Capt. Eggleston captured three officers and forty-five men with their horses and equipment. One dragoon escaped, but most of the wagons were taken. |
