![]() Col. Andrew Pickens and his militia were in the area foraging for rice south of Charleston when he intercepted a party of 40 Loyalist militia. Col. Pickens captured eight men and forty horses. The leader of the Loyalists was a Florida lieutenant who was wounded in the arm in the brief skirmish. |
