| This "battle" is found in a few "lists" of Revolutionary War battles/skirmishes, but have never found any information regarding it. Perhaps it just means that this is the date that the British landed their large force for their upcoming seige of Charleston. The word "ocaysalio" is not in any English dictionaries seen to date. Location on James Island is currently unknown. | |||
