| Sometime between July 9th and July 18th, a detachment of Lt. Col. William Washington’s 3rd Continental Dragoons defeated two companies of British dragoons killing a few and capturing fifty prisoners. Location of engagement is currently unknown. Mentioned that it happened while patrolling the roads between McCord's Ferry and Charlestown. | |||
