| In June of 1775, the following companies of Patriot militia were created: Mine Creek Company - Capt. Solomon Pope; Cloud's Creek Company - Capt. Mike Watson; Rhinehart Company - Capt. James Butler. These were attached to the regiment of Col. LeRoy Hammond. |
