Found on a few maps of South Carolina between 1797 and 1799, a small village named Middleton can be found in the Charleston Distict - about halfway between Moncks Corner and Charleston (a bit west of this line) - in what today would be Berkeley County.

Nothing else is currently known about this village/hamlet in early South Carolina.
