Here is a nice airstrip in Clarendon County, about 8 miles due south of Turbeville, SC. It belongs to George M. Hicks, Sr. and his address is 1598 Maxcey Road, New Zion, SC. It appears to still be useable. Info provided in January 2019 by CBB.

Here is another abandoned sod strip at the north end of the Lake Marion dam just south of White Oak in Clarendon County, SC. It is in planted pine now but their age makes it still visible on an aerial photograph.

Here is another airport from the Clarendon County GIS with a hangar under construction. Box states the owner is Michael Kenneth Scott in Cameron, SC. Info provided in January 2019 by CBB.

Here is a turf airstrip complete with aircraft captured on the ground, about one-half mile northeast of Summerton, SC, and running parallel to Jack Touchberry Road in Clarendon County. It is now owned by the Nebraska E. Moore Trust. Info provided in February 2019 by CBB. 

Here is another unnamed and built-over grass landing strip in the approach/departure path of the Clarendon County Airport on Lake Marion. It is probably part of the Wyboo Plantation subdivision. Info provided in April of 2019 by CBB.

A sod airstrip, about 3,100’ usable, with hangars in Clarendon County, SC at 5850 Bill Davis Road. The property belongs to David Alan Wedlake and Kathleen Marie Wedlake and is about five (5) miles SSE of Summerton. Info provided in May of 2019 by CBB.

Goat Island Airport is now built over. It was at Goat Island Resort on Lake Marion, 9645 Wash Davis Rd., Summerton, SC. Info provided in August of 2020 by CBB.
