South Carolina Watersheds - Broad River Basin

The Broad River Basin encompasses twenty-one (21) watersheds and 2,252 square miles within South Carolina, excluding the Enoree River and Tyger River Basins (which are within the Broad River Basin). The Broad River flows across the Piedmont region of the State.

In the Broad River Basin, there are approximately 2,508 stream miles and 14,603 acres of lake waters. It flows across the NC/SC state line and accepts drainage from Buffalo Creek, Cherokee Creek, Kings Creek, Thicketty Creek, Bullock Creek, and the Pacolet River. The Broad River then accepts drainage from Turkey Creek, Browns Creek, the Sandy River, the Little River, Jackson Creek, Mill Creek, and Cedar Creek before converging with the Saluda River in Columbia.
