Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of North Carolina, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That from and after the passage of this Act, any seven of the Trustees of said Academy shall be, and they are hereby authorized to do and transact all and every kind of business which a majority of said Trustees are by law competent to do and transact; any law to the contrary notwithstanding.
