An Act to Amend the Several Acts, Passed in the Year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty-Three, Incorporating Morganton Academy.

Acts Passed by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina 1826 - Pages 32-33.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of North Carolina, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That any five of the Trustees of Morganton Academy, shall form a quorum for the transaction of business, and shall have full power and authority to do and perform any matter or thing which, by the above recited Acts, a majority of the said Trustees were authorised to do and perform; and that this Act shall be in force from and after the ratification thereof.

Read three times and ratified in General Assembly,
this 12th day of February, A.D.1827.
