An Act to Provide for the Support of the North Carolina Institution for the Deaf and Dumb and the Blind for the Years One Thousande Eight Hundred and Seventy-Seven and One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy-Eight.

Section 1. The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact, That the sum of forty-two thousand five hundred dollars be and is hereby appropriated for the support of the institution of the deaf and dumb and the blind during the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-seven and that the sum of forty-two thousand five hundred dollars be and is hereby appropriated for the support of the institution for the year one thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight.

Sec. 2. That the public treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to pay the amount appropriated by section one of this Act to the treasurer of said institution out of any funds allowed by law for the support of said institution or out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated: Provided, That the amount appropriated for each year shall be drawn quarterly in advance in equal installments during the years of which said appropriation is made, upon the order of the president of the board of trustees.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in force from and after its ratification.
