Brief History of Regiment:

On May 9, 1777, Camden County was created and the 2nd Pasquotank County Regiment was renamed to the Camden County Regiment of Militia.

The Camden County Regiment was active until the end of the war. Units of this regiment were known to have participated in the following known battles/skirmishes:
