Brief History of Regiment:

*This unit started out on April 22, 1776 as the Northern Orange County Regiment. On May 9, 1777, Caswell County was established and the Northern Orange County Regiment was renamed as the Caswell County Regiment.

The Caswell County Regiment was active until the end of the war. Units of this regiment were known to have participated in the following known battles/skirmishes:
