Adlai Osborne

Lt. Colonel in the Salisbury District Minutemen - 1775
Colonel over the 2nd Rowan County Regiment of Militia - 1775-1776

On 9/9/1775, Adlai Osborne was commissioned a Lt. Colonel under Col. Thomas Wade in the Salisbury District Minutemen. He lived in Rowan County at the time.

On 10/22/1775, Adlai Osborne was commissioned as Colonel/Commandant over the newly-created 2nd Rowan County Regiment of Militia. He resigned from active duty prior to April of 1776, when Christopher Beekman took over the regiment.
