Peter McLammy. All of the events described in the pension
statement(s) about this man are known to have happened to Capt.
Peter McLammy of the New Hanover County Regiment, and I tend
to believe that the pensioner's recollections 50 years after
the fact are incorrect. See pensioner George Reed (R8658), who
calls this man John McLamma and others interpreted to be John
McClaney. |
