1) Asheville & Hendersonville Airport	Fletcher	Defunct	-	1928	1961	On October 13, 1928, regular service opened. Field flights cost $3; city flights cost $5; journeys over Mt. Mitchell, Chimney Rock, and Asheville cost $20. The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers operated the airport from 1943-1947. The 1960 Jeppesen Airway Manual depicted the Asheville & Hendersonville Airport as having three paved runways (with the longest being the 4,079' - Runway 4/22), as well as a taxiway leading to a ramp on the east side of the field, around which were clustered a large number of small buildings and a tower.
2) Asheville & Hendersonville Army Air Field	Fletcher	Defunct Military	-	1943	1947	The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers operated the Asheville & Hendersonville Airport from 1943-1947, providing air transportation for their communications and weather headquarters. During this time, federal funds were acquired to build a total of three 4,000 foot paved runways, a control tower and a fire station.
3) Bearwallow Farm Airport	Hendersonville	Private	0NC1	2008	-	Per FAA, activated 9/25/2009. Owned and operated by Rivendale Farm, Ltd. FFA LID 0NC1 is also assigned to H&J Strip Airport in Caswell County.

5) Cane Creek Airport	Fletcher	Private	4NC6	1985	-	Per AirNav - activated 12/1985. A small portion of the site of the original Asheville & Hendersonville Airport has some aviation use. The Cane Creek Airport is listed as a private airfield. It includes a 2,680' turf Runway 4/22. The owner is listed as L. A. White, and a total of seven aircraft are listed as being based at the field.
6) Hendersonville Airport	Hendersonville	Private	0A7	1932	-	Per AirNav - activated 10/1937. Hendersonville Airport was founded in 1932 by Oscar Meyer. Currently owned by John's Hendersonville Airport, LLC, John Fadok. Current FBO is Aerolina, Inc.
