The following lines were added to the Atlantic
Coast Line in North Carolina between 1921 and 1930: - 1922 - Acquired the Rockingham Railroad. - 1922 - Leased the Virginia & Carolina Southern Railroad - 1923 - Jointly leased the Clinchfield, Carolina & Ohio Railroad with the Louisville & Nashville Railroad. Continued to be reported and mapped with Miscellaneous Railroads as the Clinchfield Railroad since owned by two companies. - 1927 - Leased the Washington & Vandemere Railroad. |
