Members of the 55th General Assembly - 1882 to 1883

This 55th General Assembly convened in two regular sessions: The first session was held from November 28th to December 23rd in 1882. The second session was held from November 27th to December 24th in 1883.

The general assembly created Berkeley County in 1882 and its citizens voted in their delegates to the Senate and the House of Representatives. The number of delegates for Charleston County was reduced as a result.
