Joint Resolution to Provide for the Payment of the Expense Incurred by the Board of Visitors of the South Carolina Military Academy in the Repairs of the Citadel Buildings.

Section 1. Be it resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That the Comptroller General is hereby authorized and required to draw his warrant on the State Treasurer for the sum of two thousand seven hundred and seventy 50-100 dollars, ($2,770.50,) in favor of Johnson Hagood, Chairman of the Board of Visitors of the South Carolina Military Academy, to refund to the said Board of Visitors the amount expended by them, and for which they have pledged their personal credit, in repairing the Citadel buildings, damaged by the earthquake.

Sec. 2. That the State Treasurer is hereby authorized and required to pay said warrant out of any moneys in the Treasury not otherwise appropriated.
