This is the location of the old Winnsboro Airport about 5 miles northwest of town just west of Adger, SC on the aptly named Old Airport Road. The currently used modern airport is about 5 miles south of town. Info provided in January 2019 by CBB.

Here is an old private, sod, overplanted farm airstrip in Fairfield County, SC. It is just south of Dutchmans Creek, and east of Flint Hill Road. It is currently owned by Mary Elizabeth Branham, but the airstrip was likely built by a member of the Palmer family in the 1970s. Info provided in January 2019 by CBB.
